What Top Seed AI does, defined
Top Seed AI is a done-for-you AI visibility service, not software. We research the questions your customers ask AI assistants, write and publish the answers, and measure what changes, in four stages: research, create, publish and promote, and track. You approve everything before it goes live. If you're weighing a service like ours against a software tool, see AEO Agency vs AI Visibility Software: Which Do You Need?.
Key terms
- AEO (answer engine optimization)
- One of two names, with GEO, for a closely related idea: making AI-generated answers name your brand and describe it correctly.
- GEO (generative engine optimization)
- The other name for the same idea. Both mostly extend SEO. More in our guide What Are AEO and GEO?
- AI visibility
- How often, and how accurately, AI assistants name your brand when people ask what to buy or who to hire. AI visibility is the result you measure. See What Is AI Visibility?
- Baseline
- Where your brand stands before we start. In week 1, we track the buyer questions that matter in your category (up to 50) across five AI surfaces and record who gets recommended, and why.
- Re-test
- At the end of your first month, we repeat the same questions, using repeated runs rather than a single one, and show what changed and what did not.
- “Named”
- We ask each question three times in each AI assistant. An assistant counts as naming your brand for a question when your brand appears in at least two of the three runs.
- “Improved”
- A question counts as improved when more assistants name your brand than at the start. Before we start, we agree the list of questions with you in writing.
Stage 1: Research
Find what buyers ask, and where AI looks for answers.
Question research
We map the real questions your customers ask, by use case, customer type and feature, not just keywords. Then we pick the ones you can win.
Social media and DM questions
We analyze the questions people ask most in your DMs, comments and reviews and across social media, and use them to decide what we write and film next.
Reddit, Quora and forum presence
Finds the community threads where AI assistants and buyers get their recommendations, then builds your presence with genuinely helpful answers, with your affiliation disclosed and each community's rules followed. No fake accounts or paid upvotes.
Baseline measurement
We track up to 50 buyer questions across five AI surfaces and record who gets named, how often, and with which sources.
What you get: A baseline report in week 1: who gets recommended for the buyer questions that matter in your category, and why.
Source analysis
We find the websites the assistants rely on when they recommend your category, and where your brand is missing.
Competitor benchmark
Shows which businesses AI assistants name instead of you, for which questions, and which sources they lean on, so we know what to fix first.
AI crawler access check
Checks that your robots.txt, firewall and page setup don't block the crawlers AI assistants use, and that your key pages load their main content without relying on scripts.
Stage 2: Create
Make the content and videos AI assistants rely on.
Existing content review
We go through your current blog posts, product pages and policies, find outdated or conflicting facts, and fix them for you, with every old-to-new change listed for your approval.
What you approve: Every old-to-new change, listed for your approval.
Content, scripts and copy
New articles, comparison guides, FAQs, video scripts and website copy every week, with real specs, clear sourcing and honest attribution. You approve everything before it goes live, and revisions are included.
What you get: New articles, comparison guides, FAQs, video scripts and website copy, every week.
What you approve: Everything, before it goes live. Revisions are included, and the number of rounds is set for your brand in your proposal.
Video editing and motion graphics
We edit your footage, add motion graphics and captions, and build brand intros for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and your website. You approve every cut. See samples.
What you get: Edited videos with motion graphics and captions, and brand intros. Every video gets a title, description and chapters that AI assistants can read.
What you approve: Every cut.
YouTube titles and descriptions
We analyze your video titles, descriptions, chapters and captions, then rewrite them so both people and AI assistants understand what each video answers, plus ideas for new videos that answer real buyer questions.
What you get: Rewritten titles, descriptions, chapters and captions, plus ideas for new videos that answer real buyer questions.
LinkedIn content
Posts, articles and answers written with you for your company page and founders, published from your accounts after you approve each one.
llms.txt file
A short file that lists your key pages for AI tools. It's a proposed convention with no proven effect yet; it's quick and harmless, so we include it.
Product data for online stores
Checks that product names, specs, prices and availability match across your store, Google Merchant Center and marketplaces, so assistants don't quote old or conflicting details.
Stage 3: Publish & promote
Get it live, readable and talked about.
Technical readiness and schema
We fix sitemaps, crawling and indexing in Google and Bing, duplicate and broken pages, and product feeds where relevant, and add schema markup (structured data). This is hygiene: it helps search engines and assistants read your site, but it does not by itself get you named. What the tests found is in our guide Does Schema Markup Help AI Citations?
Brand accuracy check
We check what assistants say when asked about you by name, and fix wrong prices, specs and descriptions at the source.
Listings
Claims and completes your Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect and the directories in your field, with the same name, address, hours and description everywhere.
Review program
Completes your profiles on the review platforms that fit your field (for example G2, Capterra, Clutch, Trustpilot or Yelp) and sets up honest review requests to your real customers, within each platform's rules. No bought or fake reviews.
Comparison and "best of" lists
Finds the lists AI assistants cite for your category and asks to be considered, with accurate information. Paid inclusions happen only with your written OK and are labeled as sponsored.
Outreach, sent for you
We list the review sites and publications assistants cite, with their published contact details, write the messages and send them once you approve. You decide who we contact.
What you get: A list of the review sites and publications assistants cite, with their published contact details, and the messages, written for you.
What you approve: Who we contact. We send the messages only once you approve.
Podcasts and expert commentary
Pitches you as a guest on relevant podcasts and answers journalists' requests for expert quotes, sent only after you approve.
Wikidata
Creates or corrects a factual, sourced Wikidata entry when your business meets Wikidata's notability rules. We don't edit Wikipedia for clients, because paid editing breaks its conflict-of-interest rules.
Digital PR (budget-based)
Data stories, expert articles and campaigns pitched to relevant publications to earn coverage and links. Scope and cost depend on your budget and are set in your proposal. Any paid placement needs your written OK, is paid by you directly to the publisher, and is labeled as sponsored.
Stage 4: Track
See what changes, with automated weekly tracking.
Analytics and AI traffic
We set up Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics, so you can see what is indexed and which AI assistants send visitors.
What you get: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics, set up for you.
Weekly tracking, monthly reports
We re-run the same questions across the AI assistants every week and send a short report every month that shows what changed and what did not.
What you get: A short report every month that shows what changed and what did not.
Competitor tracking
Monthly reports show how often you and your main competitors are named, side by side, on the same questions.
AI traffic to leads
Tags visits from AI assistants in your analytics and connects them to form fills or sales, so you see leads, not just visits.
What depends on budget
Everything on this page is something we do. What changes with budget is how much and how far:
- Digital PR campaigns and any paid placements (paid by you directly, always labeled)
- Podcast, newsletter or event sponsorships
- How many pages, videos and outreach messages we produce each month
- How many AI questions and competitors we track
Your plan lists what's included. Nothing is added or charged without your written OK.
What we don't do and can't promise
- We do not guarantee that any AI assistant will recommend your brand. AI assistants change their answers from day to day, and no one honestly can.
- We do not buy or fake reviews, run fake accounts or pay for upvotes.
- We do not present AI-generated people or voices as real customers. AI-made visuals and voices are labeled.
- We can't promise that technical fixes alone get you named. Schema markup and technical readiness help search engines and assistants read your site, but they do not by themselves get you named.
- We can't promise fast results everywhere. Some changes show up within weeks; others, like earning mentions on third-party sites, take longer.
- No paid Wikipedia editing.
- No hidden text or hidden instructions aimed at AI assistants.
- No paid placements without a "sponsored" label.
- No posting from fake or undisclosed accounts, anywhere.
What we guarantee is the work itself and honest, like-for-like measurement, so you always know where you stand.
How a project runs
It can start with a free comparison page: we show you which pages AI reads in your field, then write the one you're missing. If you'd like the rest done for you, we find the questions you can win, build the answers and measure what changes. Common questions are answered in the FAQ on the home page.
