Top Seed AI ("we", "us") helps brands understand how AI assistants recommend them. This page explains what we collect through topseedai.com and how we use it.
What we collect
When you request a free page, we receive your website, your email address, the topic, type and service you choose and any optional answers you add (the questions your buyers ask, writing notes, ideal customer, area, pricing, what makes you different, proof, who gets recommended instead of you, what gets said wrong about you, where you're listed or reviewed, and your next-step link). When you use the Work with us form, we receive the answers and contact details you enter. We also receive basic technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, and we may use analytics to see how many people visit.
Along with what you type, our forms send a few hidden fields: the form's name; any campaign tags in the link you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term); the first page you opened on our site in that browser tab and the domain of the website that linked you to us, if any; on the Work with us form, the company-size band from your answers, or, when you send it from your result page, a note saying so; and an anti-spam field that stays empty.
How we use it
- To write the free page you requested, send it to you, send one follow-up email about it, and reply to your messages.
- When you submit the free page form, we email you a private link to your page, or a note that it is on its way, at the address you entered.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
We use your form answers only for your request and one follow-up email about it. We don't sell them or share them with anyone other than the processors listed on this page.
We do not sell your information.
Who processes it
We use service providers to run the site and handle form submissions, including Netlify (hosting, form storage, the system that prepares your page and your private result page), Web3Forms (email notifications of form submissions), Namecheap Private Email (our email, including the automatic emails above), Anthropic and Google Analytics (visitor statistics; not used on your private result page). They process your information only to provide these services.
Anthropic, our AI provider: we send the public text and images of your website, your form answers and related public web search results to research and draft your page, and we ask its AI assistant your buyers' questions for your free comparison page (without telling it who you are).
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set, though Google may still receive basic, cookieless information about the visit. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions, and the emails about them (including a copy of any page we send you), for as long as we need them to respond to you and keep a record of our conversation, and then delete them. This is done by hand, so if you'd like it sooner, ask us.
While your page is being written, our system also holds your answers and the public text of your website. When it finishes, usually within minutes, it deletes them from that working record and keeps only a short record for 90 days: a one-way code made from your email address, your website's domain, dates, the outcome and our quality scores. To avoid writing a second page for the same address, it keeps that one-way code for 7 days. Our system logs show only the domain part of your email address.
Your page, its PDF, its files and the images from your website that we used are kept at a private, unlisted link for 60 days and then deleted. You can delete it sooner with the button on the page. Until then, that page also keeps your website, email address and topic, so the form on it can be filled in for you.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@topseedai.com.
